The Project: A Safe Haven for a Cancer Survivor
After battling stage 4 colon cancer and losing her husband, our founder’s mother-in-law deserves a home that’s safe, accessible, and reliable. Her rural Virginia property, like many in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee, faces challenges from outdated systems and harsh weather. This pilot project kicks off BuildWell Industries’ mission to help destitute homeowners, showing the power of community, professionals, and donors working together to overcome red tape.
